Cost engineers required from civil background who have an experience of work in the construction, engineering, and manufacturing industries, and their primary responsibility is to ensure that projects are completed within the allocated budget.

The main tasks of a cost engineer may include:

Cost estimating: Conducting cost analysis and estimation for a project or a specific phase of a project based on its scope, design, and specifications.

Budget planning: Developing and managing project budgets, including forecasting and tracking project costs, and ensuring that the project is completed within the approved budget.Cost control: Implementing strategies to control project costs, such as cost reduction initiatives and change management, and providing feedback to stakeholders regarding project financial status..

Risk analysis: Identifying potential risks and uncertainties in the project and developing risk mitigation strategies to reduce the potential impact on project costs.

Value engineering: Applying value engineering techniques to optimize the cost, quality, and performance of a project, while maintaining functionality and safety.

Cost engineers work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the desired quality standards.

They may use specialized software and tools for cost estimation, analysis, and reporting, and may also provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Education: Must be a Bachelors civil and have minimum 7 years of experience in cost and Estimate Engineering of civil commercial projects
