Job content

  • Liaise with key company employees to determine their products and service needs.
  • Research for new products and services to meet the company’s goals.
  • Day-to-day operations with an emphasis on quick response times to meet the needs. This is in order to limit any potential impact as a result of supply issues requested by other departments.
  • Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure a smooth workflow within the procure-to-pay process and lead process and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in the development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Consult/work with other senior managers on specific initiatives as required and undertake any other duties as requested by the senior management.
  • Interacting and cooperating with all members of the organization
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

Addressing any issues in a timely fashion

Job Requirement:

  • Excellent command on MS Office, and hand-on experience with purchasing software e.g. BUSY
  • Ability to analyze in detail for cost effective solutions
  • Communicate and negotiate with supplier and vendor
  • Good knowledge of supply chain process and market research
  • Must be knowing Karachi city routes and areas

Educational Qualification: BBA / MBA in Supply Chain Management

Experience: 1 - 2 years

  • Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
